Goats & Donkeys

Fran participated in the North Carolina Meat Goat Producers Cooperative for a short time, and was left with a few Boer goats that became family. The current members of our goat mini-flock are Red, her daughter Ethel, and Grumpet. All three are personality plus!

We have two donkeys on the farm; Jill and her daughter Jasmine. Jasmine was imprinted at birth, and is a big puppy who likes to follow us around and get petted. Both donkeys are super guardians, and Jill is a foster mother to orphaned lambs, guarding them and position them as if to nurse on her! She is truly mama material.
